Raw Tapes’ mainstays Nitai Hershkovits & Daniel Dor tunnel into and explore a mystifying, experimental, Moog-based sound with The Garden Suite, their second full collaboration after Dor’s Four Petals. Taking cues from synth pioneer Malcolm Cecil, the duo created their Suite with patience and curiosity — pushing the boundaries of sound, mapping melodies onto rhythmic patterns. “Sitting late at night, going deep on the keys felt like a ceremony,” says Hershkovits.
